Genesis Intro Dialogue Undo Mod restores Mass Effect 2's opening cutscene as it originally was! Lunkįor new and old players of the Mass Effect Trilogy, this mod undoes some cheap edits BioWare made to the opening exchange during ME2's prologue that were altered by the Genesis Recap comic DLC back when the game originally launched for PS3, and the content was ported to pc users as a DLC. Hopefully this makes your next playthrough extra satisfying. I've also included new screenshots of some of these additions. If you decide neither Anderson nor Udina at the end of ME1, both the Genesis Recap and the optional Shuttle Dialog scene in the beginning of Mass Effect 2 now reflect that, and you can even choose not to pick a councilor in the comic on a New Game. Another thing I'm proud of is the inclusion of the "Didn't choose a councilor" option from ME1. This does not affect the Save-Import intros which play out like vanilla-ME2. Happy N7 day everybody! Another iteration of this mod has been released, containing some nifty improvements and accounting of your choices.Ī new rendition of the intro scene was added for New Game players which omits the mention of the Council's fate, so you can choose it in the Genesis recap instead.
